① My Fave VTuber’s Zero-Distance Fan Service〜Teasing You Sweetly Until Senpai Surrenders♡ at Home〜

Review

Kumono Ue Yumemi is an indie VTuber who has been streaming ASMR on YouTube since 2018. Her signature style — spoiling you sweetly while playfully teasing — has built a devoted fanbase, and this work is the culmination of everything she’s poured into her streaming career. She personally supervised the script and has openly said she stuffed all her own preferences into it. Everything that couldn’t fit within the constraints of a live stream is here, packed into a single release.

Most VTuber audio works have the performer playing a character, but this one feels like Yumemi herself is genuinely there. The feelings she’s built up across her streams — that affection for “Senpai” — are embedded directly into the script. For existing fans, it’s irresistible. For newcomers, you’ll probably find yourself hunting down her streams by the time it’s over. The premise of her showing up unannounced at your place only deepens that sensation: Yumemi is really here.

The first thing that surprises you compared to her streams is the sound. It’s the same voice, yet completely different. On top of the KU100 and professional studio, foley audio was recorded fresh for this release — fabric rustling, the creak of a bed, the texture of hands giving a massage. The intimacy of the ear cleaning track, the warmth of breath in the sleep companion scenario section — the more familiar you are with Yumemi’s streams, the more astonishing it is that the same voice can produce such a different listening experience.

And on top of the meticulous sound design, the script is dense. For an all-ages work, it goes remarkably far — teasing, pampering, a slow countdown that pushes things right to the edge. ② The Healing Expert Nono-san 3 (RJ01537273)

Review

The third entry in the Healing Expert Nono-san series, featuring a healing session with Nasuhara Nonoka (CV: Omochipo) — Crescendo’s self-proclaimed genius of relaxation. Shampoo, carbonated scalp massage, ice gloves, massage ball, ear cleaning — this time billed as the “secret menu,” yet the content is textbook, wholesome healing. Nono-san, who usually pulls out the most exotic tools imaginable, delivers a playfully ironic structure: “the secret menu turns out to be the classics.”

The series’ strength is that the conversation during ASMR never becomes mere explanatory filler. Plenty of works narrate their tools, but Nono-san has the quality of talking because she wants to talk — and that’s what gives the character her depth. Confident, yet she goes “hehehe” when you compliment her; she speaks slightly faster when the topic turns to healing gadgets. These small touches come through purely through sound.

The relationship arc across all three volumes is one of the highlights this time. Starting from the “suspicious sales pitch” of Volume 1, the distance gradually closes, and in this finale she hands over her contact info. It isn’t portrayed directly — it’s tucked naturally into the flow of small talk, just a gentle “hint.” One reviewer described it as “the distance you feel at a shop you’ve become a regular at,” and I think that’s exactly right.

The binaural precision is also impressive — you can even hear Nono-san idly fidgeting with a tool in her hand when she gets flustered. Once you hear that, you can’t help but feel she’s really there. The ear cleaning track runs 43 minutes — the longest in the work — alternating between two types of cotton swabs with a mix of slow teasing and playful taunting that defines this volume. ③ 【ASMR】Journey with a Kraken Mage (RJ01514399)

Review

An ASMR work by Iyashi no Mori no Ie and Korisu. The setting: a fantasy adventure traveling with a squid-type monster girl mage in search of an elixir. “Kraken” might sound alarming, but the character is an endlessly doting “ara ara” big-sister type (ara ara being a Japanese expression of gentle, teasing affection) — not a hint of horror. There are, however, moments that will genuinely move you.

What’s unusual about this work is how seriously it commits to both ASMR and storytelling at once. Across 10 tracks and 4 hours 50 minutes, the first half is straightforward — a journey during which she tends to your ears — but the second half, the narrative starts moving. There’s a development that feels like time flowing backward, and when you reach the final track, there’s a genuine sense of revelation: “I didn’t know audio works could do this.” Korisu’s performance pays off here in ways that go well beyond ASMR. The story is absorbing enough that you’ll have to remind yourself not to fall asleep.

Purely as ASMR, the tentacle ear cleaning is something you’ll find almost nowhere else on the market. It’s the sound of the entire ear canal being filled and gently moved — a completely different texture from bamboo or cotton swabs. The mage setting gives it a reason to exist, which makes it work. With tentacle, bamboo, cotton swab, finger cleaning, shampoo, and heartbeat all present, there’s enough variety that no single track ever wears out your ears.

The bonus loopable tracks feature three maid characters (cool maid, big-sister maid, quiet low-energy maid) — each with roughly an hour of ASMR — and they’re not afterthoughts. They work as a backup option when you’ve fallen asleep before the main story ends, and they’re worth purchasing for their own sake. If the sample grabs you, listen to the main story first. 🌟 Newcomer Award（All-Ages Voice/ASMR）

① 【Atelier Series】Ryza’s Atelier ASMR ～Soothing Rest and a Promise for Tomorrow～ (RJ01498862)

Review

An official ASMR release by Koei Tecmo Games. The story begins with Reisalin Stout (CV: Noguchi Yuri) returning to Kurken Island and reuniting with Klaudia. The timeline is set after Atelier Ryza 3. The more you know Ryza through the series, the more weight that distance carries.

You listen as Klaudia. It’s a clever choice — it doesn’t disturb the original relationships while naturally drawing out the unguarded side Ryza shows to her closest friend. Bath, ear cleaning, sleep companion scenario: the situations are intimate throughout, and yet it all makes sense because you’re Klaudia. The “count to 10 and come out of the bath together” countdown scene was particularly talked about among fans of the games.

Noguchi Yuri’s performance shifts slightly from the “energetic Ryza” of the games — there’s a warmer, more grown-up quality here. The way she speaks to Klaudia, the silences between words, the emotions that surface in her voice — sides of Ryza that rarely appear in the games are drawn out through the ASMR format. It feels closer to everyday life than the game itself, continuous with those memories.

For anyone who has played all three games, this is an easy recommendation. If you’ve come through Ryza 3’s ending, there will be a moment here that gets to you. Players new to the series can still enjoy it as a standalone audio work, but if possible, play through the Secret Trilogy (a manga tie-in to the Ryza games) first.

② My Fave Streamer Was My Classmate — And a Fox Girl — And Now I’m the Test Subject for Her Village’s Healing Ritual…⁉ (RJ01544324)

Review

The second ASMR release from Kitsunebi Yoko, part of Zonchu — a VTuber project launched by CoroCoro Comic (Japan’s long-running children’s manga magazine). “CoroCoro made an ASMR” is the first surprise, and listening with that context in mind, the craft becomes apparent almost immediately.

The premise: your favorite streamer turns out to be your classmate, a fox girl, and you’ve been enlisted as a test subject for her village’s healing ritual. Throughout the work, you hear a side of Yoko that never appears on stream: quiet, gentle, unhurried. It opens with ear fuzz shaving, something you’ll find almost nowhere else on the market, then moves through ear oil massage, ear cleaning, and an age regression sequence, culminating in Track 7’s dual-ear assault from both sides at once. The final line lands hard. You’ll be thinking about it after.

For fans of her streams, the contrast between quiet Yoko and her usual loud self is extremely effective. Non-fans can still enjoy it as a standalone audio work — but this one has a way of sending you to her channel afterward, which is structurally similar to the Ryza ASMR. The seven bonus tracks — each a standalone scenario created from concepts by different guest writers — are polished work in their own right. The dual-split whisper track was the standout.

Recorded professionally with KU100. Go in expecting “CoroCoro” and you’ll be caught off guard by how serious this is. Recommended for Yoko fans and anyone curious about VTuber ASMR.

【Blue Archive】Kisaki ASMR: Blended Fragrance and a Dreamy Haze (RJ01547274)

Review

The official Blue Archive ASMR. Ninety minutes with Ryuuka Kisaki (CV: Aisaka Yuka), head of Gehenna Academy’s Xianlin Gate faction. Starting from waking up together in the morning — morning stretches, nail clipping, ear cleaning, lap pillow, tea — it follows the rhythm of spending a day with Sensei.

The core of this work is the combination of Aisaka Yuka’s vocal qualities and what Kisaki is as a character. A voice that is composed while carrying warmth and weight — the penetrating quality it takes on when layered with ASMR audio is genuinely unusual. Kisaki is naturally close and affectionate, and speaks of herself in a formal, classical register — speaking of herself as “this one” in archaic phrasing — when that manner of speech reaches you from right beside your ear, the more familiar you are with her, the harder it hits.

No game knowledge required. All you need to know is “a girl who tends toward fragility, speaks in an old-fashioned register, and refers to herself with an archaic pronoun.” Knowing the source material deepens the tea ceremony exchange and other moments, but the work stands completely on its own as a 90-minute audio experience. Like the Ryza ASMR, this is a work that demonstrates what a game IP can do within the ASMR format. For players who know Kisaki’s Memorial Lobby, it exists as an extension of that space — and carries that weight accordingly.

Track 3, “The Warmth of Your Back,” runs 26 minutes — the longest in the work — and includes a scene where Kisaki splits into two voices whispering from both ears simultaneously. That an official release would go there is the central surprise of this work, and its ambition as an all-ages release places it alongside Ryza and Zonchu as one of the defining ASMR releases of 2025.
